8. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
Most of the time, your data are retained within the European Union.
However, when our service providers are in countries outside the European Union, we share some of your data in third countries, such as with third countries where the European Commission has not conducted an evaluation of conformity levels.
In this case, we ensure that this data sharing is compliant with applicable regulations and that your privacy and fundamental rights are guaranteed (using, for example, European Commission's standard contractual clauses). The data protection delegation can provide more information about data transfers upon request.
9. SECURITY MEASURES
Through technical and organizational measures, we guarantee a level of security in line with the risks to individuals' rights and freedoms regarding the points mentioned in point 2. We consider the origin, scope, context, costs, and state of knowledge, processing purposes, and identified risks.
Moreover, we comply with the PCI DSS payment card industry security standard, demonstrating our commitment to security.
10. PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
By using automated processing (profiling, for example), you are subject to legal effects that affect you. This is necessary for concluding or executing the contract binding you to us. This is how we can propose and implement the automation of customer identification and "4x payment". This operation's foundations relate to analyzing various variables concerning the product type, ordered services, or customer profile.
If the risk assessed with these statistics is too high (fraud/non-payment), this payment method will not be proposed.
However, if you wish, you can obtain human intervention despite the automated decisions, allowing you to express your opinion and/or oppose the automatic decision.
11. POLICY UPDATES AND REVIEW
Our data protection policy will be updated as necessary to comply with applicable data protection regulations (at least every three years).
